B.A. (3-year)

1st year students need to register for a concentration with the English department. You can download the registration form here. The deadline for registration is usually in February. To register for a specialization or for English as a minor subject, contact the Faculty of Arts. Further information available here.
A one-year program for students wishing to minor in English is being introdcued in September 2010. The curriculum can be downloaded here.
M.A. (English teacher)
The new master's program for English teachers begins in September 2009, with options for both full-time and part-time students. The curriculum (tanrend) for the MA program can be downloaded in .doc format. Information updated in August 2010.

4-year program
This program is being phased out, with the last group of incoming students starting in 2005. The curriculum for the program is available here in .rtf format.
Part-time program

ERASMUS
Currently, the English department has exchange agreements with seven European universities under the auspices of the ERASMUS and Socrates programs. Erasmus students visiting the University of Miskolc can visit the list of classes offered by the English Department here. Note that the credits for Erasmus students differ from what is listed here.
